I have a new Prius and my parents have a Tesla. I am very happy with my Prius but my dad is always trying to make me feel like I should have bought a Tesla and I made the wrong choice. Now he's scared to visit me in the city because someone might scratch a swastika in his car. So who made the wrong choice again?
If you read the article, you'll find it's a tech-themed satire website much like the onion.
This plus unruly passengers is why I think a spare seat away from the other passengers should be mandatory on all passenger planes. Then we wouldn't get dead bodies with nowhere to put them or dangerous passengers duct taped to their seat.
We recently moved back to the city and our dog forgot how to be a city dog. He's freaking out about every little noise and passer-by. We're working on it, but the one thing I don't think will be negotiable is the mailman putting mail into the mail slot that falls out of our wall. He's never had that sort of interaction with the mailman before and it's too much for his scruffy little brain.
That actually sounds like a good idea. Off-brand memes that are similar but definitely... Different.
This is a common misconception. Not that I'm trying to get anyone to purchase one, but they are the most affordable electric vehicle on the market. I just bought a Prius last year and it was more expensive than their Tesla. They maybe could have bought a GMC or something, but part of this is that they wanted to be done with constantly fiddling with a shitty car. By saving a bit longer, they have achieved this and I don't blame them.
I couldn't have said it better. I feel terrible for my parents right now. They bought a Tesla a few years ago. A good portion of my teen and early adulthood was spent going to the junkyard to get parts or spending hours trying to revive a part we couldn't replace because we had no other choice. I was so happy when they were finally able to get a new car for the first time in 30 years. It wasn't what I would buy, but my dad has always been a tech nerd and this was his dream car. Now they're scared to visit me in the city because someone might scratch a swastika into their car that they're now embarrassed to drive.
I got in trouble for not singing during rehearsal for our 2nd grade Christmas concert. I remember this because I was definitely singing and it's the first time I can remember getting in trouble for something I didn't do and having no power to do anything about it. I actually love singing so much that I ended up singing in any group I could join in highschool and college. Really though, that teacher just didn't like me very much 🫤
I would like to subscribe to uranium facts please
Also still using sync. Works great! I honestly hadn't noticed there wasn't an update since my phone is so old that I rarely get updates for anything anymore.
My dad has been obsessed in recent years with switching Eve in the house to electric. He's mostly succeeded and that's all well and good. Until he bought an electric outdoor grill... My mom was on board with all the other changes except this. We all started calling him Hank Hill and saying "taste the meat not the heat".
I'll admit, it's small inside. But I'm short (5'2") and my husband isn't exactly tall (5'7"), and it's perfect for both of us.
