  • use alts for different interests (e.g. one account for niche communities, one for memes, one for news)
  • consider https://piefed.social/ as they have personal and public feeds (multireddits)

Federation isn’t always seen as a positive (see: discussions linked on fedibridge complaining, without realizing it sometimes, of certain instances’ people) for those aware of it, and for many more it’s just not even a factor they consider.

Discuit has less than 200 weekly commenters. Lemmy has more than 50k monthly active users.

Trusting a single admin for a whole platform only brings you so far.

Could you maybe consider unbanning him after two years? 😄

Sync hasn't been updated for a long time, and will stop working with Lemmy 1.0, I would recommend to have a look at the 3 above when you have some time.

!summit@lemmy.world has been active lately

Lemmy.ca is targeted at Canadians, feddit.org at German speakers (most of !main@feddit.org is in German). Blahaj is a trans-first space, programming.dev for programmers

Lemmy.zip and sopuli are indeed generalists

The app - Baconreader was so smooth. I’m getting used to the fediverse one, but there are still a lot of decisions by the devs that I hate.

Have you used Voyager, Thunder, Summit?

Promoting it would probably help, there are probably other Arabs around, they just don't know about the community

Hello keyboard enthusiasts,

So I've been postponing the purchase of my first split keyboard for a while now. I had things like the Kinesis Advantage360 on my radar, but the price is quite steep (I live in Europe, so it's around 550€), and I'm not sure it will be "the one" for me, so I would prefer to get something a bit more affordable for a start.

I've seen those two boards on keebart.com:

A few questions for everyone:

  • Does anyone have experience with this store?
  • Are those boards model generally good? I've heard that the first version of the Dactyl Manuform could actually be quite bad for some nerves (pinching the thumb nerve?), would it be the case here too?
  • Do you think that a well is necessary, or is tenting "good enough"?

The roof of Lingotto, Torino Built at the beginning of XX century, it was a car factory of FIAT. Peculiar, the roof is a car track, since cars were built and assembled floor by floor going up till the roof, where finished cars could be driven for a test. Now the building is a mall with offices, houses and hotel. Over the top, the is a museum called Pinacoteca Agnelli, with pictures donated by Agnelli family, founders of FIAT
