Apple just proved AI "reasoning" models like Claude, DeepSeek-R1, and o3-mini don't actually reason at all. They just memorize patterns really well. in c/technology@lemmy.world

Funnily, I also started with slackware 1999. Had been using FreeBSD since 1996 though ... Currently mostly using GhostBSD privately.
