You don't, a tar.gz is an archive format like zip or 7z

Technically it's two formats a tarball - all files combined into one file, tar - and then compressed into a gzip.

To uncompress and release the files run:

tar -xzf filename.tar.gz

For hundreds of not thousands of years we've dealt with it. That's not just, coping because there isn't a better option, Humans are pretty capable when they're not lazy

I haven't played the campaign from either of the last 2 games and barely even bothered with regular multiplayer in MW2, mostly sticking to Warzone and DMZ instead.

Yeah I've been using potions through act 1, especially portions of speed, they're such an advantage.

Slowly building up ingredients to make more as I progress, before this game I finished off DOS: EE, and got into the crafting quite a bit.

I seem to remember there was a skill you could invest points into that would increase the conversation timer also.

At first it seems like standard bioware multichoice like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, but there is also a time limit for you to make your decision.

This might sound frustrating, and some players hates this system as they wanted time to read and make the right choice, but I think it fits this game perfectly as you're playing a Secret Agent where time is of the essence and the stakes are high, it really sets the tempo for the game.
