Yes, I prefer Gnome to KDE by a long way, it's much nicer looking and easier to use, the trick is to use it the way it's intended, instead of trying to control it to work how you think it should

Convenience creep is real though, as apps like WeChat are more integrated into society at large for things like payments than the likes of Instagram or WhatsApp in the West
I feel the same about Mount & Blade, the different kinds of mods are brilliant too, from single player total conversions to Horde mode multiplayer
I also think the gyro and touchpads are super useful on the Steam Deck, I may not use them all the time, but I wouldn't want to live without them
