That was my favourite thing to do, go to Borders on Cheshire Oaks, grab a book go to the cafe and read, then it went under. I really miss those days. I love my local library but it just doesn't have up to date books. Occasionally when I go on holiday I'll visit a local bookshop in the village.

Lots of type 1 diabetics now use their smartphones to keep track of their numbers, they use them to work out carbohydrates, the phones also warn them of high numbers and potentially fatal lows. So yes they do need phones.

The child's phone also sends blood glucose values to family members.

Also a teacher having a mobile phone doesn't help one iota.

Same and I saw musk Tesla logo with a swastica which I can't find now, I'd love to get a bunch printed & start sticking them around town.

I got a 3Dfx from a computer fair in Liverpool just so I could play Quake 2 CTF, it was absolutely mind blowing not even an understatement.

I'd say because Chester is always having road closures & a production crew & big names could increase traffic to the town therefore having a positive affect on the city, but No, CwaC being as shortsighted as always fuck it up.

Lol I know exactly which traffic warden (tbf there re two well known wardens), he often issues tickets in Ellesmere port. When vaccinations happen at the Civic hall ( Ellesmere port) he'll come around and catch all the old dears who can't find a space in the library carpark & find it difficult to walk from the local supermarkets carpark. The guy is a menace.

Labour laws are often exploited in the UK around working hours, if you look at the care sector and the hours people regularly put in you'd be horrified.

I've got the revision guides on order now, thanks.

My son is currently doing A levels, his subjects are Design & Technology, Sociology, Photography & an EPQ.

I'm currently on the lookout for books (anything really)that can help him through these. Is there anyone out there that can recommend books that helped you study those subject areas.

He didn't study Design & Technology at GCSE level so he might need something that covers the fundamentals.

That sounds perfect, thank you so much for your replies & time. I'm gonna give it a go next weekend.

Hi all,

I'm very much a Linux newbie. I originally read that Nobara was great for gaming (and it is) but I've read even better things about Bazzite and want to give it a whirl.

My question is, am I able to download it to a usb and just do a clean install without issues or do I have to do anything beforehand. I originally installed Nobara using btrfs if that makes any difference.

Like I said I'm really new at this, hopefully it's ok to post this here but if not please let me know where would be more appropriate.
