There's a map of subredits and their new homes, seb.rehab. Many are official others are just copies. You can filter the list to just lemmy communities and kbin magazine.

I think we last went to the movies about the same time. The last movie I was in the theater was the first Black Panther.
Excluding the "breadbasket of Europe" as the world is entering into a period of mass food scarcity is a profoundly shortsighted move.
Came to say the same. That's the good one.
I kind of wish the term from Kbin would catch on, Magazines.
These are old era internet companies from when it was considered fiscally fine to be unprofitable as long as you were growing. Those days of the internet are over and the last few companies clinging to that model now have to plan their shift toward either profitability or being sold off for parts.
It's the daylight I struggle with most. I don't know why but I can't sleep until the sun has been down a couple hours and then I usually wake up at first light. According to my mom I didn't even nap as a baby.
My room is mostly blacked out but when I wake up at night if I can't tell how bright it is outside I assume I over slept and get a jolt of adrenaline.
I look forward to being able to sleep more than 6 hours again. I look forward to being awake enough to cope with people.

I recently installed Pop_OS 22.04 on a surface pro 4 (i5-6300U w/ 8G Ram). It runs well but I haven't tested the pen or put any effort into getting the touchscreen working. I just really needed it to not be windows because I was stuck using it for a week.
Welcome newbie. Most of us were in your shoes recently. You're already following the top tip: be engaged. To be counted as an active user you need to comment or post once a day. Nothing wrong with not being active, but the number of active users is a shiny sparkly number we're all staring intently at for the moment.
If you are looking for the communities similar to Reddit, look at sub.rehab. You can filter that to just lemmy and kbin.
Enjoy. Your task now is to find the poop post. You'll probably catch references to it soon, if you haven't already.
