That is a ghost pipe. He is not a mushroom but a parasitic plant. Just recently people started losing it over ghost pipe tincture, I have been in the woods all my life and had not heard people doing anything with them.

I was just talking to my uncle about those spectacular QVC knife shows. I have fond memories of watching them in a hotel room as a youngin while traveling on vacation with my brother. Thanks for keeping up the good fight and sharing these for all of us to see.

So happy that Spring fishing is in full swing. This is up on northern Indiana and ignore the cluttered canoe bottom as I was scrambling for my net to make sure I landed that smallie. Best one of the year thua far.
I like this knife. I think it is close enough to miniature that is becomes cute.
I will always remember this movie. Went to visit my big brother at Ball State University and watched this in a dorm room. Brings back great memories.

This seems pretty straightforward in my eyes. Organic amendments are largely carbon in the first place. So if you add more C that is no surprise you are going to integrate more into the soil.
