On one hand, Jambo (and more) will be much more expensive for Scouting National. On the other, the military loses what I assume is a pretty decent recruiting avenue. I'm an eagle scout, and you encounter a LOT of military and religious propaganda, even though I was a part of a troop that didn't care for any of that. It was a pretty excellent experience for me, and I made many lifelong friends, but we all wish that Scouts had let girls join a long time ago. We didn't need yet another 'boy-friendly space', but building friendships, having experiences with members of the opposite sex from a young age could have been very helpful for many of the boys in our troop. Even more importantly, the separation of Girl and Boy Scouts often times (not always) led to each organization preferring 'gender appropriate' activities. There's nothing inherently male about fun outdoor activities, and there's nothing inherently female about arts and crafts and learning to sew. Both Boys and Girls can benefit greatly from these practical skills and fun outdoor time. Times are rightfully changing, and this administration is clinging to traditional values like they mean anything at all.

The first time I boot up the game, immediately show me the settings menu. Whether its window settings, sound volume, subtitles, or graphics settings, please do not make me sit through a long cutscene or (god forbid) make me play the game without being able to adjust settings first. Sometimes the window is screwed up, the graphics are pushing my system too hard, or any number of other issues on first boot.
I can think of 1 or 2 games that booted to settings or booted to a truncated settings menu with common settings, but I would love if this became standard for all PC games.
It'll just make idiots even more identifiable
extortionist wunk (he took all my money)
MPV is also high-quality software, tends to handle streams much better than VLC for me. It's amazing the amount of FOSS software that has been painstakingly maintained for years, that we mostly take for granted.
If this refers to dedication and slow, steady, personal growth, great. But it reads as "all of your trauma will be worth it eventually", which... ugh. Trauma is not "worth it", it is survived. r/thanksimcured material
You gotta be careful, because if you don't go far back enough, you'll end up lobotomized in some kind of haunted house. Go too far back and, especially as a woman, you'll be labeled "hysterical" or worse then exiled or killed. You gotta find that sweet spot when you could walk into Wild West CVS and take home a bottle Morphinecocainemeth to help wash down the Bovril.
