I've been doing a lot of experimenting with builds recently. Been enjoying the blitzer electric shotgun for the bugs. Great chaff clear, kills anything smaller than a charger, or stun-locks it so it can't move. Grenade pistol as you said. Usually stun grenades for charger control or keeping all the gribley inside an aoe. Depending on what my squad has either the flamethrower or anti tank. I usually end up running the anti tank so spear or recoilless. I've been enjoying the spear recently love the fire and forget but I do find it doesn't reliably take down much in 1 shot unless you get it really well lined up. I always love a cluster bomb. Been enjoying the airburst and napalm for area denial/ breaches. Guard dog laser if I'm not taking a backpack.

It's fine as a switch your brain off and shoot stuff game. But I'd agree other stuff is probably worth more of your time.

There's a really good Kurzgesagt (in a nutshell) about this topic. (Also their videos are excellent in general, highly recommend their YouTube channel).

My thoughts on this are: we may not have free will but it still feels like we make choices so I will continue to choose to do things which matters to me and enjoy my time in the universe.

This is a really underwhelming month for me. I've already got Borderlands 3 and Among us and I've no interest in EA sports games. Usually there's at least 1 game I have some interest in.

The gameplay is fun. The plot and characters are a dumpster fire. Skip the cut scenes and ignore the dialogue and enjoy the shooty looty goodness.

Snap. My dad was always conservative but generally a pretty accepting person. Brexit and COVID really sent him down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole and he's gone full blown racist nut job. There's a huge amount of topics which are just off limits with my family now in the efforts of retaining some sort of relationship. Fortunately they live 6 hours away so we don't see them that often.

We had a lovely BBQ with friends over the weekend. Enjoyed the summer weather.

It's not the best community I've played with but it's definitely up there. Deep Rock Galactic still holds the title of best online community I've ever been part of. HD2 is very good though, the vast majority of random games I've joined have been good experiences only a couple of griefers.

This group gave me the incentive to start properly investing and a little bit of hope I may one day get to retire early. I'm in my early 30s so still a fair ways off, but as it's said the best time to invest/save is 10 years ago and the next best time is today.

Try and take a little time for yourself if you can, an afternoon off or even an hour or two to just relax. All the stuff you're doing is hard work and you deserve a little me time. You don't want to burn out before your wedding. Congrats on the house and the wedding, I hope everything goes how you want it to.

I saw a video claiming if you turn 90 degrees every time you hear it go off it doesn't ever hit you. Haven't tried it yet personally.

Wasps usually kill other bugs. So you might end up with more of the biting bugs without them.
