Yeh I have noticed something similar.

I have to refresh home/local/all when I visit them to get all new posts. Default sort is new for all of them (iirc)

Occasionally there is 1 new one at the top of the feed.

I thought I was dreaming.

Vger ... Star Trek the movie called and wants their name back!🤪

Yup. Exactly that. Us poors can work harder to earn enough so that we also can live in nirvana.

Nah they aren't shit, they are just poor traditional school fiction with added magic...

School fiction is a genre that has existed for ever and is always no better than "meh" imho. The Potter books are definitely at most meh but not as bad as shit.

UK - Strimmer (contraction of string trimmer I guess, but never though about it till today)

Funny Autoincorrect...

Pre 1850s, in most cases, you needed to have lots of offspring regardless of wanting them or not.... Mortality was high.

Hmmm there are quite a few of these... Ok these are UK/us mostly.

America: fanny - backside

UK: fanny - the other side (!)

America: rubber - condom

UK: rubber - something you use to erase pencil marks.

UK and others: Durex - Condom brand

Others: Durex - sticky tape

US: Suspenders - things for holding trousers up

UK: Suspenders - things for holding stockings up. Used with a suspender belt and with, or without, other underwear...

USA: Pants - leg coverings e.g. blue jeans

Most of the UK: Pants - things you wear under your blue jeans (unless ”going commando”)

IANAL however.... Your daily storage rate is way too low. It will cost you more to get what they owe you than you will get out of them.

Send them a letter changing the rate to £250 a day and stating payment terms of 30 days.

You have to be (legally) reasonable, so give them 14 or 28 days to get something sorted, after which the new rate will apply.

You should send them (snail mail and email) invoices every week reminding them of their ongoing commitment to paying you.

They may not pay you, in which case you have to go through small claims (Google it) or sue them to get the money they agreed to pay you (by not removing the vehicle after you gave them a reasonable time to comply) the former costs you time and effort the latter cost time effort and money.

In my experience, once invoices for significant sums start adding up to being a PITA for them, things will happen. Once the car is gone you have to decide if it is worth your time and effort to chase down the invoices. Hint - it probably isn't.

I got rid of incompetent bailiff companies this way (they kept buying a debt that someone had taken out using my address as theirs and the original loan company didn't check)

tl;dr - you have to make it worth their while to make you go away whilst being cool, collected and, above all, reasonable.

Yeh - it's just the Arubas are much more sensitive to slightly dodgy connections. Connections and wiring which worked with their predecessor Ciscos just fine is persona non Grata in the Aruba universe.

With cameras they just won't talk to them even if the port is set to 10mbps rather than Auto. Stick an unmanaged switch in the way and they work fine.

One thing I have found is that FS.com sfp+ Aruba compatible modules work just fine which saves a packet!

We have an extensive Aruba estate here (managed for us by the local authority). You have to be careful about licenses for management software. The authority weren't so there are issues... Though that may be authority incompetence rather than an Aruba issue.

The other thing we have noticed is that they are very touchy indeed about 10mbps connections (cameras often need an intermediate unmanaged switch), and also will drop so-so 1Gbps links back to 100mbps at the drop of a hat...

Guys

Voyager native app on Android.

Anyone else got an issue when scrolling through a thread the rendering flicks all over the place?

It's random and I can't think of a way to screenshot it. It's like the replies get drawn in one position then jump to where they should be. Sometimes, if I catch it right, sliding up and down with my finger flashes the post/comment on and off...

Like I say, hard to describe properly.

Guys

Dunno if I am missing something, but I notice that many times a post is cross posted to many communities, resulting in the All feed being full (well not really full but you know what I mean) of what are, effectively, reposts...

Does voyager have a "hide posts with the same title in different communities" setting somewhere or is that a feature request?

Guys

We have an XYZ DaVinci 1.0 Pro, connected by USB to a Windows 10 PC (latest updates etc.)

The drivers are all correctly installed (both cameras show up in device manager, the printer shows up in device manager as both a printer and a USB-COM3 device).

The printer has Firmware 1.2.3 installed (as recommended by XYZ.... not sure if that's a good thing)

  • XYZ Printing does not detect the printer as online;
  • Cura does not detect the printer as online;
  • Pronterface does not detect the printer as online;
  • In a massive turn-up for the books.... Microsoft 3d Builder does see the printer on line and will start a print.

In device manager the com port seems to be set at 9600,8,n,1. Changing this to (say) 115200 breaks printing in 3d Builder. Changing Pronterface to use 9600 baud makes no difference to connecting to the printer.

I have changed the USB lead, tried different ports on the PC yadda yadda yadda but no change at all - only Microsoft 3d Builder will see the printer online and print.

Anyone got any idea at all why everything except Microsoft 3d Builder can't see the printer?
