Dude not even close! The 2nd ave subway project added 3 new stops. The IBX is adding WAY more than that. And even if you wanna count the entire hypothetical second avenue line as a single project (which it obviously isn't because each "phase" of the entension is being done multiple decades apart at best), then the hypothetical entire line is still way less than the IBX.

No, it really is. Name another single individual nyc subway project from the past 50 years that created a bigger expansion of available service. This is the biggest one, and by a massive amount

Seriously a no-brainer, because THE ENTIRE TRAIN ROUTE EXISTS ALREADY!!! This is an old basically unused shipping rail line that already runs through Brooklyn and Queens! So they don't have to do the biggest hardest part of building a new rail line in a packed city - the tunneling! All they have to do is install stations for the train to stop at! That's still a big project of course, but the hardest part is already pre-created!

Nope, the ad video is just an animation, nothing actually functions. Making a functioning game is MUCH harder to do, and requires MUCH more time and money. (Relatively speaking)

It's the difference between creating a movie set that looks like a skyscraper vs. creating an actual skyscraper. Creating a mock up of something is always going to be much cheaper and easier than building the actual real thing

They're talking about cost to the developer, not cost to the user. Creating, marketing, and distributing a game all cost money.

That is a very rare opinion. It does happen, I'm not saying it doesn't, but it is very uncommon. People may say it to you as some sort of gotcha in their attempt to deflect from examining their own actions, but it isn't a sincerely held belief by almost anyone. Eat what you want, and blow off any nonsense that haters spout.

And I'm saying this as an omnivore, so no one can say I'm coming from a defensive position or being uninformed about what meat eaters think
