You can think of Bradshaw as a goofy old man all you want, but he's still won 4 Super Bowls. Rogers definitely doesn't know Bradshaw.

You have the right to free speech...as long as...you're not dumb enough to actually try it!

Dispatcharr

Hmm, if it gives you a local M3U list, I bet it would run in Jellyfin too.

So I want to add IPTV to my entertainment menu. (If you have good provider or app recommendations, DM me). But I want to run it through VPN.

What I'm thinking of doing is getting an inexpensive, second android box to use to watch IPTV. Then set up a VPN tunnel on my router and send all traffic from that device through the VPN.

That ensures I won't disrupt any existing streaming services with VPN, and I won't have to remember to fire up the VPN before watching IPTV (more importantly, I'm sure my kid won't remember). Thoughts?

The nature of uploads/downloads happening with torrents coming and going from disparate sources. Apparently it has a certain network signature that can be identified fairly reliably. ISPs don't really give a shit about WHAT you torrent, but they will try to traffic shape it so it doesn't affect other users on the ISP much.

Do your ISP a favor and use a VPN when torrenting. They will know you're torrenting based on traffic patterns, but they won't know what you're torrenting. That way they don't have to serve you a notice or kick you off their service at the behest of movie or music studios. Your ISP may not care what you're doing, but those businesses do, and the law is on their side.

VPN makes it extremely difficult for your ISP to spy on you, which is the whole point.

I wouldn't even go that far. Boot to a live USB of a distro you want to try.

Not that surprising. Republicans have been painting Democrats as Satanist baby killers for decades. Republicans have also been campaigning on the lie that the Epstein list is all Democrats, Woke Hollywood, and Silicon Valley Tech Bros. To the average brainwashed minion, there is zero reason to hide the client list. They want their righteous lynchings.

(hehe), sure brother, you're still young. ::cracks open a beer and hands it to you:: have a seat in this lawn chair next to Gen X and tell us about it.

Key feature for republicans is that they are persecuted at every turn. Just like Jesus!

I think this one will hurt him, just a question of how much. Much of his base are people that identify hard with churches, and they're the kind of people that don't take kindly to pedos. Just they've been duped into thinking it is just Democrats, Woke Hollywood, and Silicon Valley Tech Bros on the list. It doesn't compute to them that Trump and other conservatives are going to be on the list repeatedly.

Hey All, I've hear lots of people talk positively about Flatpaks, but every app I've installed through Flatpaks simply won't work. They'll install and initially run ok, but the second you use the app either it just doesn't do what it is supposed to do or I get weird permission issues. Uninstalling then using the deb package or other direct installs gives me apps that actually work. And it seems the Pop Shop no longer gives me any identification of whether the app is a deb or flat pack.

Anything I can look into on the system to see if there is something on my end that needs changed? The more I hear Pop is heading down the Flatpak road, the more I'm thinking of hopping off the train.

Hey all, anyone know if there are any directions on how to swap out to the assist_satellite from this depreciated sensor? Normally when there is a swap like this, the Home_Assistant folks give us some directions, but I can't find squat on this.

Hey All, When my desktop was Windows, I'd use my desktop to rip DVD/Blu-rays, move them to the movies folder, then use robocopy to copy just new files from my desktop to my Plex server. Used switches to copy just the new files and folders.

What is the Linux equivalent to do this?

Stafford is back for more abuse. The revamped defense gets a test right off the bat. Especially with Puka Nucua AND Cooper Kupp heathy and ready to play.

Hey All,

I'm looking for a good softphone in Linux. I tried Linphone, but it had the same issue I had in Windows where I could send texts ok, but can't send and receive calls. In Windows, I used Microsip since it worked as soon as I configured it. Linphone seems to be "special." Any suggestions?

And I don't care about video calls.

Hey Everyone,

I haven't been active here for camp and the pre-season. My Wife passed away in early July, and it has been hard. I'll get back to it at the start of the regular season. I haven't abandoned the community.

Lions kicker Michael Badgley is out for the entire 2024 season with a torn hamstring. Lions are down to just one kicker, Jake Bates.

Hey all, noob here. In the system settings of Pop OS I chose dark mode. At first everything was fine. But something happened. This issue is only happening in the Show Applications area. It is dark mode, but the text is all black instead of switching over to a lighter color like it did before. Makes it tough to read as you can see in the screenshot. I've tried flipping to light mode and then back to dark mode several times of varying length with no success. Any tips to get it back to normal?

Bonus issue: I have uninstalled OpenRGB, but it is still showing up in the app list as you can see in the screenshot. Any way to remove it? If I reinstall OpenRGB, I get a second icon.
