You've become radicalized, friend: Your extremist rhetoric makes that clear. I hope you can find your way out.

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love Stephen Fry's narrations! You're right, the production quality of the audiobook, as well as the cadence of the narrator, can make or break it.

Oh, that's fair. You came off kinda militant in your first comment. Cheers.

You reduced "sliding to the right" to "becoming a racist, sexist, misogynist" and completely missed the point. Rather than dictating to our kids what they should believe, we should teach them principles that will allow them the best chance of choosing correctly for themselves.

Honestly, attitudes like yours are a huge contributor to the rightward shift of young men.

I’ve tried audiobooks but it seems that - as silly as it sounds - I need closed captions with those

Dude, same!

And to add, book reading is not the only kind of reading.

The list of things I heard less democratic than the idea of holding people to account for who they vote for is pretty short.

Red != rough. Lol you just stereotyped 3/4 of the United States! @TheGoonch had a much better answer.

It's been a while since I tried it, so I don't recall exactly what didn't work the last time. I think it may have been driver related.

I'm definitely going to give it another go one of these days.

What is the rough reputation of Del Norte County?

I have never gotten Clonezilla to work. I don't want to call it obsolete, but... it certainly isn't intuitive, and in 2024 I expect even open source software as widely known as Clonezilla to have a straightforward interface.

For simple data backups, I use Kopia.

EDIT: Apparently there's a GUI for Clonezilla called Rescuezilla. I'll have to give it a try sometime.
