I think the biggest problem is most studios (whatever that means nowadays) have the pockets to wait it out for a while and have no problems generating absolute dog shit content and pawning it off on the customers.

Diablo 2 from launch, I won't even guess the hours because it's over 10k easy and that's just not good. Path of Exile says 4k+ hours as well. I'm an old fart though.

I can't speak highly enough about Home Assistant. I've run it for a long long time and it just gets more and more polished.

Bought some stainless steel wire rope over day, like 500' of it for 25 bucks. I've used that shit for everything. Stringing garlic up, strong lights up, garden trellis, hanging anything and everything. Still got a good 100' left 8 years later.

Nah, some movies are so visually and mechanical entertaining/enthralling you just sit back and enjoy. The Fountain (2006) was a movie I just didn't care to understand the first watch, it was just so beautiful.
