I've thought a lot about this recently. Like I'm sure that a lot of us might have had problematic or even awful views in the past, but talking about them does nothing except make the speaker seem less trustworthy to the people impacted by their past views.

You see it way too often in transfemme communities where someone will be like "lol I used to be a fascist but I got better." Like cool, glad you're better now, but now I need to question whether you've really gotten over those bigot brainworms.

I am happy you are not shitty anymore, SorosFootSoldier, and I trust that you will continue to be vigilant about shitty ideas resurfacing.

I get that Russia hasn't been very proactive with protecting Armenia recently, but they're really just gonna burn that bridge entirely, huh?

An Ork. Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka.

But like a lot of things in 40k the satire was overshadowed by the serious lore material, and Ghazghkull is just a badass Ork Warboss now.

My BF watches a lib youtuber (Phillip DeFranco) mostly out of habit from his lib days, but also to get a pulse on how they talk about these things.

Of course this was all portrayed as just a big oopsie-woopsie, someone didn't do their homework, acting like this is at all symptomatic of a larger problem in Ukraine or Canada is just Putin Propaganda, and you know, actually Ukraine had very complicated reasons why they might have joined the Nazis (holodomor!). But also I really hate Nazis btw :)

Running every apology while "condemning" Nazism.

I love Eclipse Phase's setting and concepts and I wish it had a better system (I have not looked at 2e yet). I've had a long-running project to try and run it on Storyteller System (NWoD), but I've been working very sporadically.

I always really liked the uplifts. The story of the first uplifted chimp is heartbreaking, and the way that uplifts are both "human" but also psychologically distinct from human humans makes an interesting opportunity to play a neurodivergent character without doing the classic "autistic robot character" thing. My first character was an Octomorph with terrible social anxiety (octopuses aren't the most social animals, even if you make them smarter). It's also very cool that the devs took time to consider non-humanoid uplifts when designing alternative morphs (like the Takko for Octomorphs, and the Blackbird, Chickcharnie, and Opteryx for Avians).

The devs' political views are so openly shown in the material too. The game is unashamedly anticapitalist, antifascist, antiracist, pro-morphological freedom. The more interesting conflicts come when you get deeper into the sci-fi concepts, like ego-forking, and some of the wilder modified humans in the outer system. Or just the staple horror of resleeving and the uncertain continuity of life.

Wild, I listened to this with a friend for the first time earlier this week, and then a bunch of his other stuff. The sounds are good.

Sarah Ashton-Cirillo got fired for that creepy video 🥳

Now if only that Nazi fuck would get fired from life.

3d printer, or find a local makerspace with the expensive tools you want.

I get it though, Fusion is really fun.

I feel like a big part of being queer is figuring out all these relationships outside of friend/fwb/partner. I call mine my "shiny friend".

Shelter services being run through half a dozen different agencies, each with their own overhead and inconsistent policies and levels of service. It sucks as a shelter worker, must suck even more as a houseless person trying to receive services.

Also the site in the picture is nightmarish. I've worked at some pretty nice outside shelters/tinyhome villages, but that looks like it combines all the worst parts of living outside and living in a congregate shelter.

(we should just give people homes, of course)

But the redditors told me they were going to disassemble the bombs and use them as drone grenades, and that's why it was okay to give them cluster bombs!
