I've seen the picture they're showing everyone, does anyone know what's up with that?
Babs
Genocide hummus.
Now seeing people claiming that the hospital was never attacked and those people weren't killed.
Not even a "the hospital just did that" but "the hospital isn't even damaged".
I googled "baptist hospital" and they gave me a handy "Perspectives" tab full of twitter accounts talking about how this was definitely a Hamas attack that destroyed the hospital and the zionist entity is innocent.
Learning how many Israelis are first or second generation colonists has really radicalized me on decolonizing Palestine. Around 30% of Israelis are foreign-born. They should go home. Another 30% are second generation - their parents had no right to be there and many still have ties to the old country. They should go home. If most Israelis can't even rightfully claim that even their grandparents lived there, I see no reason to support "Israel's right to exist."
I'm mad. I had at least assumed that most Israelis could be considered "innocent civilians", but no - the majority of them are actively involved in the genocide and colonization of Palestine. Makes me sick.
When a woman turns 30, she enters a chrysalis to begin her metamorphosis from "teen" to "milf".
Oh that's cute. I got the 老公/脑公 pun but didn't know there was a basis to it (I only recognize 脑 from 电脑)
Awesome thank you. Yeah I saw the shénmo and the shuihua and a 着 as "zhuo" and thought "that's not how I learned it, is this a mistake or is Taiwanese mandarin more different than I thought?
And yes, the music video is fantastic.
This is cool and helpful, thanks. I'm noticing a lot of other irregularities too and I'm not educated enough to know if it's the transcriber getting it wrong, or if it's just a regional linguistic thing that I hadn't learned yet.
Anyways here's a girly pop song for you all https://youtu.be/kU1KGu4IYfs?si=IbvDjqI7-jTRGAX3
什麽 is "shénme" or "shénmo"? Is this a Taiwan thing? Seeing it a lot in my music subtitles and a little confused. Beginner mandarin student here.
"Russia blows up their own stuff all the time. Here's some links to western news articles about the ZNPP shelling, the Kakhovka dam, and a copy of Enemy At The Gates. As you can see, self-destruction is just part of Russian military doctrine."
I have seriously heard the "they just do that" argument from acquaintances.
The west is completely controlled by genocidal fascists and it's hard to hold on to hope that it will ever change. Even our "lesser evils" are complete monsters.
May america suffer a thousand more 9/11s. We deserve worse.
