Posting so that I can find this thread when I get off work and can watch. I've been working in shelters for some years now and have a lot of critiques of how we do things. Curious to see if my experiences line up with this.

Snapped at a coworker cause she wouldn't stop making "all straight men dating trans girls are actually eggs living vicariously" jokes :(.

We have the best anarchists here, because Hexbear has a certain culture to it that makes our anarchists very acceptable to our marxist majority. Irl anarchists can be a mixed bag. Maybe because it's more common for unread radlibs to call themselves anarchists rather than communists?

Weed is really cheap here. I used to get 10-packs of half gram joints for 20bux, 1 gram singles are closer to $5-6. I might spend $10 if it's really good or I'm out of town.

Houthi attacks in Red Sea delay arrival of critical Yad Sarah medical equipment

https://www.timesofisrael.com/houthi-attacks-in-red-sea-delay-arrival-of-critical-yad-sarah-medical-equipment/

Yad Sarah, one of Israel’s largest non-profit charitable groups, warned on Sunday that the disruption of shipping in the Red Sea, caused by assaults by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militants, is causing delays in the delivery of critical medical equipment and could lead to severe shortages, as Israel is almost four months into war with the Hamas terror group.

Almost felt a twinge of sympathy, but then

Since the outbreak of the Hamas war, Yad Sarah, one of the country’s largest medical aid volunteer organizations, has already supplied an entire year’s worth of “critical medical and rehabilitation equipment,” to soldiers and civilians, Cohen said.

Get fucked. I hope that your need for emergency supplies increases and is never fulfilled.

The attacks are working.

I'm clearly too burger-brained about this and forgot that not everyone has readily accessible firearms to defend themselves against recruiters.

It would be a very dangerous job in America.
