I may be biased but the US flag is just ugly, same for similar flags like Liberia and Malaysia. is a really nice design imo. The hammer and sickle is classic, but some of the alternatives looks really nice like the WPK emblem , which i think would look really good on a flag. The Kiribati flag is pretty cute showing a sunrise/sunset over the ocean.

They even made up a goofy term for it, "the political misuse of homosexuals." They then realized the solution was to literally urge the SED to find “resolution[s] to homosexuals’ humanitarian problems,” which resulted in the government doing a complete 180 on queer rights.

If you want news as recent as you can get it, I'm sure there's a handful of good telegram channels for that. But yeah, it's definitely overwhelming. I can't keep up with it at all with my IRL responsibilities, there's simply too much going on, especially since Oct 7. You kind of have to be selective in what stories to follow I guess.
