So for an idiot who likes tofu when going to a Mongolian bbq because they are sauce sponges but never cooked with it, is the pressing it for getting the water out?

And is there a problem with going over the 30 minutes, like does it cause issues overpressing? I ask because the 30 minute wait time is something that'll drive me up the wall when I decide to cook, but could set this up before I go get a shower when getting home from work.

Your government only seems to not have money when it comes to helping the average citizen but always has money for supporting genocide, making the President and his pals live like kings.

Always have. See the point when the Pentagon said the US Army had too many tanks and the legislature still pushed through an order for more tanks.

The "We don't have enough money" is because we don't have the military to pull a one turn military victory a la Civ so people starving is a sacrifice they're willing to make.

If only we were so wise to stop Reconstruction.

It's so baffling to see that number.

You'd think it was majority percentage where I live.

Nearly eight out of 10 Americans, including 70% of Republicans, fear that Trump’s tariffs will increase the price of everyday goods.

I fear how the the prices are going to go. It's why I've been trying to garden this year and will continue next year to try to cut down on food costs. Also doing everything I can.

But what I find hi-larious about the 70% of republicans is right now at my job I'm mostly surrounded by republicans and I'm doing way better than most of them. But part of that is I drive a shitbox car, eat cheap as possible, live in a house where my payments are cheap as fuck (that one I got lucky on timing on, but when asked if I'm going to move somewhere bigger I laugh my ass off.) I've lived within my means especially with it took me nearly 20 years to break $15 an hour, and that was a pandemic doing it, and when I broke out I've been working at keeping myself okay, not just going out and putting down money on a truck that payments cost more than my mortgage.

There's going to be a lot of people hurting on all sides, but I'll at least help the people that tried to stop it. Those temporarily embarrassed millionaires that voted for this shit won't get a handout from me for how much they whined about handouts.

Hey, at least I don't need to put out a campaign sign saying "Atomic Winter 2028"

The CPB did more for rural Americans than nearly anything i can think of.

And they voted HEAVILY for this.

I had to deal with right wingers all throughout Kansas whining that NPR did nothing for them and was coastal elites while their local stations were doing Harvest Public Media specifically to deal with news on the agriculture locally while Faux News couldn't give two shits about Kansas.

I'm not happy about it, but there's going to be a lot of "We didn't vote for this" which I'll happily tell them yes, yes they did.

Hello neighbor! I was thinking the same thing with Kansas Public Radio and their Harvest Public Media segments.

Gonna suck for a lot of people that voted for this. Oh well.

[–] Azal@pawb.social 8 points 14 hours ago

So I'm lucky that KCUR is a good local station that talks the local. But we also get a lot from the Kansas Public Radio on the farming communities out west, the sort of places CBS, NBC, and FOX all ignore, much less the internet unless someone has a weirdly specific blog.

And a lot of these places the antenna isn't going to get you much. So lot of the farm crowd that voted this way thought they were abandoned by the coasts before, gonna really suck for them now.

Don't forget Ruport Murdoch who's been pushing the right wing agenda across the country is an Australian export. This is not unusual from that country honestly.
