I’d also suggest changing the default browser from Google to DuckDuckGo. Much better privacy and you can choose to search from a different country which can be helpful.

Just to say I’ve got the exact same one as you and when in 2022 it got a bit too bartered I bought a refurb of the same one. I like the home button, don’t need anything snazzy and like the size. I’ll be staying with the home button line for as long as I can, although I wish they’d do a bit more of an upgrade when bringing out the SE, one hour extra battery life isn’t much of an upgrade

My Apple Watch S8 couldn’t read my ECG correctly. I went to an Apple Store where I was seen in 10 minutes, referred to a phone call from apple support and got a phone call 20 minutes later. I spent about 40 minutes with a very helpful advisor from Apple team in the USA who helped me run diagnostics and find a solution.

With AppleCare+ I get a brand new one sent to me (temporarily pay for the price of the watch, will refund when they receive my old one) which is received at 8.30 the next day! It took less than 24 hours to receive a brand new one due to a technical fault and I won’t have to pay a penny as long as I return the old one.

I will get a phone call in a week from the same advisor to check it’s working well. I’ve never had such effective customer service. I’m so glad I paid for this coverage.

Is there a way to “senior proof” an Apple Watch? Grandma keeps leaning on it, opening the control center, and disabling cellular or enabling airplane mode on accident. in c/apple@hardware.watch

Maybe try putting it on the other wrist to see if the issue still happens?
