I love how the article makes it sound like she signed herself out AMA. I am certain they left her to rot in the waiting room for hours each time until she gave up on waiting and went home. You don't have to sign AMA papers to leave and the hospital can still write it up that way (and charge your insurance).

These idiots believe the "real" Constitution is actually the Bible.

Wow that woman was so incredibly lucky she didn't die. This is a true nightmare scenario. I really wonder what the long term effects on this woman's health will be.

Well if we're going this route I would like to add in Kung Pow. I would've loved to see the sequel they teased at the end.

Seeing the moon and stargazing in general. Oh and everytime I see a picture come back from the Perseverance Rover. I just look at them in absolute wonder and still find it unbelievable that we have clear pictures coming back from Mars. Every new picture is like Xmas for me.

Omg yes!!! I was just ranting the other day that all these drug shortages should come with consequences to the companies. (Looking at you Ozempic) If you can't produce enough of your drug to keep up with demand then other companies should get a chance at making it. It shouldn't be the patients that have to suffer.

Calling the state of the US healthcare system "strained, exhausted, and burnt out" is a bit of an understatement at this point. I just wonder how many people have to continue dying due to lack of adequate routine care before our country does anything about it.

This is how I use control with lucid dreaming. If something is taking a wrong turn I just say "No" and either remove the bad part or rewind on something that doesn't make sense. I don't really want to actively control the dream because I want to know what my subconscious is trying to tell me.
