GitHub was really intimidating for me the first few times I used it. Overly simple answer is that it's a place to store and share code, and oftentimes versions that are compiled and ready to install. If you want to keep things simple just look for a "Releases" section
I've demoed a couple of other apps like this but the subscription turned me off. Nice that this one is a flat purchase price! Wishlisting for now.
The account is still up and viewable for me. US.
It's great to see more games adopting this.
That screen share fps is rough
Virtual Desktop is a little pricey but I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Would love if they supported Linux though
Also in here they mention that all playable post-launch content will be free. Good news!
Interesting you mention that, the actual patch notes indicate BLE won't work with LCD. Though, the wording makes it seem like there's a chance that could change in the future?
Known issue: Bluetooth LE based controllers are not currently compatible with bluetooth wake on LCD models
Bluetooth to wake was a significant part of why I upgraded to OLED lol (before you judge me, a friend had offered to buy my original). But I'm glad it's coming to the LCD model now too.
And Plasma 6! Finally!
I don't browse or even log in to reddit anymore. I don't feel bad for searching out specific things. Since the audience is so much larger, there's niches that just haven't been replaced by Lemmy or other services. Sports, media discussion, and old tech advice threads are the ones I'll still go over for.
Love my 8bitdo ultimate 2. Fwiw, they're supposedly adding support for it in steamos, but it hasn't shipped yet
