Indeed I am. I already have a dual-boot setup on my laptop (not yet on my desktop) but need to finish testing Linux alternatives and/or running under WINE for some of my Windows-only software. I've been slowly chipping away at that over the past few months and expect to continue to do so over the next few as well, after which I hope to be ready to completely switch over.
Doesn't surprise me one iota. This is why I will be abandoning Windows next year and moving to Linux and doing the same for my parents.

It would not surprise me if somebody had done this to humilate the women involved or because they thought it was "funny" rather than actually being sexually interested in them.

I think it's safe to say she's yours now. Glad to hear you're looking after her.
The only issue with the BT transmitters is potential lag. Some models are shocking (I tried one exactly for the purpose you described, but the audio lag was bad enough that I couldn't use it).
Sigh. I hate the fact that I have to research every 4K release I consider buying just to see if it's been butchered.
