The CVE-2024-9680 vulnerability is described as a “use-after-free” flaw, which occurs when a program tries to access memory that has already been released or freed. You keep practicing, and when you feel like you mastered the language enough, if you want to, you learn another language. I learned Python then started learning Rust. Now I don't want to go back because I feel like I'm more productive with Rust.
