I was expecting the article to talk about how e-bikes might make a person choose to bike over take their car for short to medium length trips. In that case, there might be a tipping point where e-bikes could be more climate friendly than regular bikes just because they end up getting used more and take cars off the road.

As an adult, I’ve found friends from a few different places.

  1. A board game meetup. My partner and I made a couple of friends this way. They were both autistic.

  2. My closest friends I made at work. I work in IT and there are a lot of neurodivergent people in that field. These friends were the first people I knew I would probably have as friends for the rest of our lives. Well, besides my partner.

  3. When we moved to a different country, we joined another board game group, but this one for transgender adults. This group is fairly new, but I already feel pretty good about this group.

  4. My partner made a friend on Bumble, an app for finding friends. There’s also a dating side to the app, but it is kept separate from the platonic side. I also enjoy hanging out with her, but my partner definitely hangs out with her more.

Almost all of my friends are neurodivergent or suspect that they might be. I think it works best to put yourself in a situation where you can be around other people who think like you. For neurotypical people, that might be easy because most people thinking like them. For neurodivergent people, we have to find ways to make that happen.

This is basically what Ottawa is doing. The only mistake they made was that it doesn’t work when it snows… in Canada.

Hey, thanks for taking a look. I tried to use a VPN to buy it from Amazon UK, but they stopped me when I tried to pay with a Canadian credit card. I'd probably have to make use of some sort of virtual card or something.

If you have darker beard hair like me, use foundation, then an orange colour (I use an orange putty blush) over the beard shadow, then put a concealer that matches your skin tone. Here's a video I used to help me with it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbnnftjyfSs

Home and workstation PCs are about the only things that aren’t *nix based operating systems. Android uses a Linux kernel. Mac OS and iOS are Unix based. PlayStation 5 is FreeBSD based. Nintendo Switch is a Unix-like mashup of FreeBSD and Android according to Wikipedia. Most TVs run Android, WebOS (Linux), or Roku OS (Linux based). Most web/cloud servers are Linux.

And I get that Unix and FreeBSD aren’t Linux, but they all come from the same family of operating systems. The entire world runs on mostly Linux or other *nix based operating systems.

Take a look at the 2020 presidential election map and compare it to this one. There’s very little difference.
