There's 99 other dogs in the room. The antisocial thing will be glued to my leg ๐Ÿ˜†

8 months since I've worked and I'm still suffering burnout. I'm not surprised after over a decade of never having more than 4 days off at a time but I was hoping I'd be recovering faster.

It's been really difficult to motivate myself to do anything other than play Minecraft and animal crossing lately. The daily list of things to do in my games keeps me sane.

I want to start working again but every time I think about putting in applications my dread spikes.

Edit spelling

My partner got a job at a haircutting chain! After a few months of working at a salon where she couldn't find clients, having a stable scheduled gig for haircutting is a HUGE deal for her. I'm so proud ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ

For me, I started talking to my mother again. She called me recently on my birthday to reconnect and it was wonderful. After over a year of no contact I'm just so thrilled to have my mother in my life again. It's still tense as she learns to navigate my boundaries but she's being receptive instead of combative this time.

The flash memory the OS is stored on is borked.

Filesystem check shows dependency errors attempting to check ext4 fs on /dev/mmcblk0p2. Assuming ext4 and fsck are installed (it should be if this isn't a mega-custom ultra stripped down private distribution) this shouldn't be possible.

Further down networking fails to initialize leading to a bunch of fails before it succeeds and reaches its target, only to be stopped by the dependency errors again.

Wearing Google wiretap instead of putting it in your home isn't much better. Honestly it's probably worse.

Agreed, I've always seen it as more of a tech demo than a feature film

Hon' some people don't know you can align the USB by checking if the holes on the outside are filled or not and have to deal with the unraveling the USB superposition dance.

Getting a USB in on the first try is considered wizardry by average person. Booting from one? May as well be Zeus with command of electrons like that.

You're confusing convection with conventional.

A convection oven is an oven with a fan to induce convection currents. A conventional oven is a hot box. Air fryers are ovens with fans in them to induce convection currents, ergo air fryers are convection ovens.

I've got a SCPH-5501, after they "fixed" the swap trick (you have to do it twice, with really good timing to do it on that model) so it was worth it to use a scam memory card that corrupted if I had more than 3 saves on it to make a tonyhax card.

Been a great time going back and playing ff7 and frogger 2.

Microwave defrost function. Usually there is one for poultry and it will assign a time based on the weight you enter.

Every time it beeps mid cycle, dump the water from the plate and flip the meat.

This works for all frozen goods, but some veggies do not survive this process and get all mushy.

Whatever their intentions, they were massively influential and changed grunge forever and that's not something that should be understated
