The 'work' is usually internal, and the less your parents/circumstances gave you the more work you'll have to do by yourself to get to where you were always supposed to be. An adult who was brought up in an abusive household and isn't existential/bright has to do more work than one that was raised similarly but is more gifted, and the latter has to do more work than one that is gifted but was brought up in a peaceful, loving environment, and so on. ๐

I watched Rush (2013) yesterday with the wife and she really liked it despite her initial objections ("they just go around in circles!/you don't even care about racing, why are we watching this?!").
Today, I wanna hate-watch the JLo narcissistic documentary "This is me... Now" but idk if she'll agree, lol, it might be a step too far.
Elon will never be at peace because wherever he goes, there he is. What a miserable existence!
Hey, fair enough, that seems pretty reasonable. If it's an extension of the pride you feel in being a decent human being who makes his environment better for everyone and it doesn't veer into jingoistic exceptionalism, I understand and condone it. ๐
What does it even mean in this context? Pride? You didn't do it, you were just born there and it was already done. I feel people mistake "pleased" or "happy" with "proud".
Wiki says her last name is Wiles (nรฉe Summerall), btw.
You must! It's easily my favourite comedy show of the 00s, but if you're not a Brit you'll probably need subs, lol.
As long as people worship money, this will actually be true, sadly. For example: OF, Dubai, Bonnie Blue, Mr. Beast (both the 'person' and the activities in which others participate)...
I agree. For example: URAMESHI!
If you're not paid for these posts, take our word for it and just stop.
People usually want romantic partners to have a heart and a brain, and redhats and libertarians have neither.
TIL the word 'albatross' has more than one meaning!
