However - individual subreddits can make their own policy decisions. On r/Superstonk, the word "lemmy" triggers automod and can not be commented. That was added shortly after this instance was publicly launched.

Emphasis on this -- it's the Superstonk mods themselves who've taken this step. Mentioning lemmy risks a permaban from the sub now. They don't want the Apes to escape their cage.

Oof. Should I worry about my new, old Oneplus 5T? It rocks with LineageOS.

Go listen to Strike Force 5, the podcast with all the late night hosts! Any profits they make from it (and their sponsors, mostly Ryan Reynold's businesses) also go to helping their staff!

True, every git pull is a 'mirror'. Bad phrasing on my part. I was thinking more of when I set up my local gogs instance to mirror an outside/upstream git (such as from github), which really is just their term for pulling again automatically every time upstream changes.

:) It reminded me of the Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail...

Would you consider AntennaPod instead? It has been good for my podcast listening (audio only, no idea actually if it handles video ones).

Some are at least mentioning Chrome has the same issue: https://www.theregister.com/2023/09/12/chrome_browser_webp_exploit/

True, generally. Unless DMCA notices force github to taketh away for them... :) youtube-dl and others found out.

Geat idea! There's no reason this couldn't be done everywhere by citizens with access to sticker printing services... I've spotted a few products myself in the past year and wouldn't be against sticking some labels on them to warn my fellow shoppers :)
