Got Steam with Proton going on my Devuan laptop a few weeks ago, and very impressed with how many games work. I might just get a Deck, after trying out a friend's.

I think M$ needs to be very afraid -- probably why they bought Activision and are trying to dig their way deeper into the gaming ecosystem.

Upvote for mentioning tit-for-tat. There has been a lot of research on the iterated prisoner's dilemma, and as I recall the winning strategy determined by many experiments showed that over time, the 'nice tit-for-tat' strategy gets the highest score. It may lose out in an individual interaction, but over time, sticking to it is the best long-term strategy.

However this does mean if one is a grifter and fully expects never to interact with the other (victim) party again... there's less incentive to use such a strategy.

It should be pointed out this was from Feb 2023, so not 'news'... however still worth highlighting how dangerous Russian windows appear to be, especially to those who are not performing in the "special operation" to Putin's liking.

It played sbemail58.swf flawlessly, which I just so happen to have here locally (because of course). So it's feature complete insofar as I'm concerned! :)

Now if you'd coloured those lucifer yellow it would have been a top-tier chemistry meme too! (Maybe, IANAC).

So sad that Space-X, which has done such incredible things to advance spaceflight, is run by this idiot. It's a testament to the intelligence and hard work of the engineers and scientists working there, despite him, I suppose.

This monster also enabled Brendan Eich's weekend project that infected the software world -- javascript. May he burn for it.
