I see it now, perfect!

I'm confused then.. when I view the page I do not see the December edit:

Appropriately, the word 'cede' means to 'give up (power or territory)'https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/cede#English because investors give up their stock and companies give up their shareholders to an intermediary.{{Cite conference| publisher = SSRN| pages = 1–66| last = Donald| first = David C.| title = Rise and effects of the indirect holding system: How corporate America ceded its shareholders to intermediaries| date = 2007-09-26| url = https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1017206}}

Looks like it got ninja-reverted. Someone's watching it and doesn't like that ...

Try disconnecting from all networks (unplug ethernet, turn off wifi) if you want to ensure no updates can interrupt the copy operation.

Oh I hadn't thought of how I'd installed Vivaldi. I always just choose the basic install -- no Vivaldi mail, ad-block, etc. Just their core browser. Then I install uBlock Origin on top of that. And, so far, I've never hit the new Youtube adblock-block.

I'm waiting to see Youtube block me using Vivaldi w/uBlock Origin on Linux so far. It hasn't happened, am I accidentally doing something awesome to evade their traps so far?

Vivaldi's Chrome-based, so I would presume the same tricks to detect uBlock Origin on Chrome itself would work, or is Vivaldi doing something sneaky?

I have no problem jumping to Firefox the moment they do it -- I just haven't had an issue yet. I should add I'm in Canada, perhaps that is a factor.

No matter, if the penalty for violating this is a small fine nothing will change.

As article states, you're not vulnerable if you don't have the 'graphapi' app installed, whatever that is. Checked my nextcloud instance and it's not there.

Young whelps! I could debug my programs by putting an FM radio beside my rig and listening to the interference :P

From what I've read over the years, he's hella-fired as soon as this pic gets around.

So is it a priori illegal in the UK to walk around on public sidewalks wearing a Guy Fawkes mask?

Time to recreate that crowd scene in VfV ...

"Oh, me officer? I'm on my way to a masquerade ball. It happens every day, runs 24 hours."

I know you asked specifically about security updates, but I would add that lineageOS updates as a whole also depend on the willingness of volunteer maintainers for each model. It's a thankless job, so I just wanted to put it out there that we do appreciate the work you do, maintainers!

If you have a lesser-known model of phone, support can unfortunately go away at any time (RIP my Zenfone Laser).

Very happy with the OnePlus 5T lineageOS team's work.
