They are during rush hour, they all are, all the way to the very brim. Which is why LTA is being politically pushed to tighten the train frequency ever closer (currently at around 2-3 minutes at peak).

There are 3.41 million MRT rides a day in 2024. While I don't know the figures per train, considering personal experience of just how crowded the trains are during peek hours, it seems to be well within the ball park.

Know when to let go sometimes. When you can start to tell a friend is getting irritated by a discussion (or worse, a debate), drop it, even if it's naturally hard to do so. You're friendship isn't worth whatever inconsequential thing you are getting way too deep into.
Yeah, I really have put too much time into replying to all these based solely on a hypothetical. But I did learn something from all these comments (technical something, not me being an idiot), so it's all good.
