That’s exactly what this is about.

The 6 week ban was passed in 2019, and has basically been tied up in court, but because of the amendment to the state constitution, the law is unconstitutional, and those orgs are asking the state courts to declare it unconstitutional and remove it entirely.

I’m with you but it depends on the bagel and that’s probably the problem.

Many people only really have experience with like frozen/mass produced bagels, which are not good dry. Good toasted with cream cheese or butter, but not dry (speaking from intensely lazy experience).

But if you get one of the good ones that’s baked with cheese and is just soaked with delicious? Made by a good bakery? No question I’ll eat that dry. It doesn’t need extra if you make it right.

Thank you! I’m super pumped!

Thank you, genuinely. I am definitely not an extrovert. I generally go out to just exist in public, to vicariously extract social experiences through those around me.. but when I went today it had been 30+ hours since I’d slept so I was wired on cortisol. I was a chatty mofo. (Good outcome to a bad situation. Also got a fucking great latee before I’m normally awake, so today was a good day in spite of being a bad day) 😊

Potato bars are so rare here (also Midwest). They happen, but super uncommon.

Probably less uncommon than the rest of the US, tho.. since the food all comes from here 😅

Frequently.

Add some shredded cheese or whatever, some fresh chives (grow 90% of the year here), some bacon, and some water or oil for mouthfeel (based on calorie needs) and you’ve got a whole meal.

Potatoes are cheap and so filling. Passing on them as a meal is a mistake.

I used to have that every day of the week. Anxiety attacks were my alarm clock, typically 2 hours before I needed to be up with no chance of getting back to sleep. I stuck it out for 2 years.

Now when I start getting that I make note. If it continues for more than a few months, I quit. (I’ve never been stable even when I took shit, so what difference does it make?)

It’s not stable, but nothing about the present system is stable, and I’d rather be unstable on my terms than theirs.

I have a hideous lamp that I hate that’s worth about a grand. It doesn’t look like it’s worth that much, just a heavy brass base and reverse painted landscape shade.. but all antique and sought after.

My cats are probably going to break it so I should sell it but it was the last lamp my mom refurbished before she died (why it didn’t get sold and I got it in the first place)

I also have a brass fairy floor lamp that, with no shade, is worth about $1500, but that one looks valuable, and is very rare (and super cool)

I did a factory reset on my Roku several months ago and it works more or less like it would normally. Can’t set themes, which is the only big lack, but most of the important settings are still available. I know I can change the inputs and settings and stuff on it, though, because the hdmi1 is classed to PlayStation and 4 to computer.

I just did a factory reset and never connected to the internet. You can’t disconnect it from the internet without a reset, tho, or you’ll get “not connected” messages frequently, which I assume is what you are talking about.

If copilot gave you the same one do you think it’s biased because 9/11 involves planes? 🤭

You…. Do realize that many symptoms of autism directly and negatively impact social interactions, right? Because that’s what they were saying, and it’s pretty damn clear in context if you have even the slightest awareness of autism. They were not arguing/supporting this straw man you created to attack. That’s just you taking shit out of context and twisting it to make yourself feel right. Poor form.

I have had a coupe for the last 10+ years. Because I have no use for a full size sedan, and it weighs less so better mileage and handling. Plus I don’t want people asking me for a ride unless they need it enough to be uncomfortable in a tiny car (“sure, but I have a coupe” is a powerful line when people want a ride). It’s a Honda civic, which you’d struggle mightily to class with sports cars and muscle cars… so I’m pretty confused by your blanket classification - my civic coupe is nothing like the eclipse I used to have.

I’m a super cautious driver (no tickets no accidents 20 years driving) but I also basically never see sporty coupes around here (rural), so I don’t have any reason to assume coupe drivers are worse than sedan drivers as a general rule. As such, I’d be pretty pissed if I had to take a special driving test just because I don’t want a full back seat adding weight to my commute.

I’m with you on the rest of it, though I’d say to just ban large vehicles entirely unless you get special accommodation to have one for work purposes only. They are entirely unnecessary in 99% of cases and seem (anecdotally) to make people more aggressive drivers (I think because the height makes them feel slower), rather than just attracting aggressive drivers.
