I didn’t go for a walk, but I did get my small flock of chickens outside in a run for my mental health. I got sunburn pretty badly for the effort, too, and it took me well over a week to get the whole thing built. But they were getting annoying inside. Every time I passed the bird room they’d get excited and start launching themselves at the side of their tent. It really set the quail off.

I’m just waiting for someone to complain. I have a license, one of 10 in my town of 15,000. I shouldn’t qualify because of how far into town I am, but I do because I have a unique property and one neighbor who consented (the rest don’t matter, the one is the only within 100ft of the coop). This is all above board, but some people tried keeping geese several years back and had to rehome them because of complaints, so I’m just waiting..

I magneted my license to my front door so hopefully any complaints just sort of go away without my intervention, even if they don’t check city records… but I have one too many because my friend who got my chicks got one too many in case of deaths. I’m good with birds and have never had one die, including quail and conures, so now I just have an extra Buff Orpington.

I’m genuinely both surprised and excited that this ended up being two women.

Could someone with better search skills or knowledge of their discography link to their music for me? I’ve heard it’s good but I legitimately can’t find anything but news videos when I go looking (I don’t use any music handler platforms)

Welp.

I watched several videos in addition to those and feel both better and not, I do understand the simplified analogies in the linked stuff, and they are helpful, as were some of the related content.

I kinda sorta understand the technical stuff, sort of. I’m not in a tech field or anything..

I’m going to keep it there regardless of the negative hype because you never know when I’ll need others to do the same. Im not doing anything wrong so it’s whatever.

I’m up to 10 :)

Transmission fluid is the real “I have no idea what that means” thumbs up.

Because it should hopefully always be clear but it depends where….. and how warm…. And how clean the dipstick was….

(I recently had transmission issues and omfg there isn’t even a light on my car for low transmission fluid wtf??)

Idk why I was expecting anything other than what that comm was, but I’m pleased to have been wrong.

There are sooooooo many people who will respond very seriously to a slight changeup of your wording.

For example if you say “how is today treating you?” They tell you, like 60% of the time. In great detail.

It short circuits their brain and skips pleasantry mode.

It’s fucking fascinating to use as an opener.

I hate pickles and pickle juice. Always have, always will.

That said, whenever I have bad heartburn, I take a shot of straight pickle juice (the vinegar kind), and it goes away.

Depends how you make it. I use medium for my French press.

This came up as a plot point in some other animated show, and for the life of me I can’t figure out what it was..

Like the realization that they were hurting so many people so they could survive and save the world or whatever it was.. and it just killed them inside..

(And I’m fairly certain I’m not thinking of Rick and Morty, although that does sort of happen as well.. and I don’t think it was bojack horseman either..)

Hmm.. that sounds potentially interesting.. young Frankenstein was one of my moms favorites, so I’ve seen it many times.

And at least it’s not a remake/reboot/spinoff/ripoff of something from the last 30 years. That’s a breath of fresh air. Much as it can be for a reboot/spinoff.
