I also work retail, and unless you are constantly falling every day on your watch I think it will survive perfectly fine, I recently retired my SS S7 for an AWU2, the only thing I’d recommend would be apple care for the battery and if anything were to break.

Ultra if you want maximum water resistance or if you don’t dive, s7-s9 should be fine. I would go to the pools and wear my s7 SS and come out with it perfectly fine.
Maybe I’m tripping, hearing everyone talk about battery drain, but my watch goes through 20-25% in a full 24 period, I always charge it before I go to bed meanwhile I shower, but supposedly 10.1 has a battery drain bug.
