I was very confused about this being Alan Alda from MASH

I dont forget to eat dinner, because food is one of my greatest joys. 😅

However, what I usually make if I'm in a real hurry, or just don't want to bother cooking something that takes real effort, is spaghetti aglio e olio.

Cook spaghetti as you like it, transfer to a colander when done and turn the heat off.

Whilst the spaghetti is cooking, chop some garlic. I usually do one or two cloves for a single portion. Don't use a press as we'll fry the garlic, and it'll burn if you do.

In the now empty pot, put in a couple of tablespoons of olive oil and the garlic. Fry until fragrant. It should only take a minute or two. You can turn the heat back on if it doesn't come up to temperature to fry. Be sure not to burn the garlic.

Put the spaghetti in the pot and toss with the olive oil and garlic, to coat the spaghetti. Put the dish on a plate or in a bowl.

Here's the secret trick: Pour over some more olive oil. Olive oil loses some of its great flavour when cooked, so we want to add some room-temperature oil for flavour. It makes a difference.

This takes about 10 minutes to make, its super easy, only uses one pot and a colander, and it's super tasty. Add chopped parsley and some chili flakes for extra flavour if you want. Its a nice addition, but not needed.

I just checked the Danish newspapers online, and only found one article about this. It didn't provide much new information, other than a retried professor stating that is it if true, then it works not be a war-crime, just merely a breach of sanctions. We have had a few Danish companies apparently aiding the Russians exposed so far, one more to the phone would not be unlikely I guess.

Aldi is so terrible that they went bankrupt in Denmark. Lidl's still here though. Make of that what you will.

I loved my Nokia 7380 art deco phone. It had a screen hidden behind a mirror surface, a rotary dial instead of buttons and even a little fabric flap like a pair of jeans or something. It was so widely different to anything else out there. I wish it still worked on contemporary wireless services, but alas. It was a pain to text on but with voice messages becoming a thing, it didn't matter too, too much. I would probably go back if I could. A stylish cellphone

This looks super sick. I'm going to go look up how to do this with bleach pens. I've been getting in to runes lately, so some Viking inspired art might be fun. ᚱᚢᚾᛁᚱ

Something must have changed since I got my physical code display then, because I simply went to their webpage and ordered a free code display device a while ago. https://www.mitid.dk/bestil-mitid-identifikationsmiddel/

I love the little known MMO Dofus. Ive been playing it on and if for almost 20 years now. Lots of very different classes, gathering and manufacturing, and a very lovely art style. The combat is grid & turn based, kind-of like Final Fantasy tactics.

A trick to get better results (I.e. without suggestions etc) is to add "before:2026" TP your search string. This filters out a lot of the garbage, and leaves you with search results alone. I somehow feel the need to do it most times now, if I'm searching for something very specific.

This thread has been interesting. There are claims both that Lego bricks are made to better tolerance, and the opposite, they they are worse. So which is it?

As I understand it, Lego moved their production out of country for a bit, but returned it because tolerances could not be met. So who are making these better, or equally good pieces now?

Full disclosure: I've 3d printed a few Lego bricks now, and some certainly came out better than others - but I did manage to get some fully adequate 4x2s printed. Now as for the angle supports for my Lego wall.. Not so much unfortunately.

Tak for tippet.
