We deserve far worse than Trump.

Death to America.

Listen here Jack, if I'm going to support a one-party state it's not going to be one made up of a bunch of corporate liberals.

"we have to vote for the senile genocider who keeps giving more money to the military and police forces who would violently crush any proletarian revolution."

"I support a workers revolution"

You are deeply unserious.

Sounds like a very important election.

Democrats should probably run someone not alienating constituents whose vote he relies on.

They should also probably run someone who doesn't make everyone who watches that debate start thinking "mabie we need to 25th amendment this guy".

Do you have a solution that doesn't require Democrats to win control of the Executive and the Legislature in every American election for the rest of time?

I thought liberals tended to oppose single party political systems.

Kamala is the only reasonable choice to replace him.

If she is smart, she runs a campaign that frames herself the cop and Trump as a criminal. Frame it as cleaning up Washington, "no nonsense black mom" schtick. She could promise to finally legalize pot and codify Roe, Play up the deficit and Trump's tax cuts impact on it. Immediately turn the tables on Trump and his age. Point out that Trump is older than Biden was at the beginning of his first term.

She would have an uphill battle, America is still very racist and very sexist. As I recall she is poling equal or worse than Biden is right now, but with enough money she could overcome some of that.

No matter what this election is going to be close, I genuinely believe that Kamala has a better chance, but that's predicated on getting started as soon as possible. Everyday Biden stays in the race kamala's chances shrink.

I hate this song so goddamn much.

As much as I would like to see Biden replaced on the ticket, you are right that anyone who replaces him at this point is going to be, somehow, even worse on Isn'treal than Biden is now.

Of course CNN took advantage of the easy ratings. Of course they platformed the fascist in order to stay relevant.

When I leave a burrito on the coffee table I don't get mad at my dog for trying to take it. I blame myself for leaving it within easy reach.

This entire debate was a Biden self-own before he opened his mouth. If he had the rhetorical skill of someone like Obama he might have been able to pull his chestnuts out of the fire. But, he doesn't, and he didn't.

This feels like 2016 all over again, we're going to end up with Trump because the Democrats are being led by someone whose own hubris will destroy them.

You seem to be under the impression that most Americans vote matters.

With the Electoral College and how partisan state governments have gerrymandered, I can honestly say my vote, here in Texas, literally makes no difference. Biden has literally zero realistic chance of winning this state, my vote does not make any difference. So why make an empty gesture in support of a war criminal, when I can make an empty gesture by writing in a 3rd party like the PSL?

You know what?

Late October, with a ceasefire in place, I can understand the impulse to swallow your pride and vote Biden out of fear. It's not an impulse I'll share, but it's one I can understand.

But we are over 4 months away from the election. Pledging your support to an incumbent president while he is in the middle of supporting a genocide, with no reservations or halfhearted attempts to demand concessions is so servile it makes me sick.

Look at my "leftists" bro. We are never getting socialism bro.

I don't know what's more depressing. That dozens of people who unironically agree with his dipshit, or the ads Twitter is inserting into this conversation to promote evangelical missions to Israel and Congressional Republican fundraising.
