interestingly, Yakuza 3 is also the "wokest" yakuza game in the franchise lol
- a part of the main storyline deals with racism, with one of the girls (that kiryu adopted) outright saying she couldn't like this boy (also adopted by kiryu) because he's black, and in typical yakuza fashion, she'd later see the error of her ways.
- a substory that essentially boils down to kiryu saying trans rights, though then again rgg studios also included a transphobic quest; but it's since been removed in the re-release. also i heard rumors that it was exclusive to the western release - the original japanese release apparently didn't have it lmao
all this in a game released in 2009. imagine that lmao. if you put any of this in recent games chuddies would hue and cry about "forced diversity and wokeist propaganda being shoved down their throats"

So yes, together they represent Hexbear lmao.
