We think we're that powerful, but there's an entire domain of creatures we can barely reach that utilize geothermal energy that will just keep plugging away out of our sphere of influence.

Surface and shallow water life is and will suffer greatly until we burn ourselves out and are no longer a threat on the scale we currently are, but humans are even egotistical in this topic. We couldn't come close to sterilizing this world, even if it magically became as important to us as fucking one another over for paper simulacra of supposed value.

From the perspective of capitalists, Boeing is the fucking dream. They can innovate fuck not at all, they can bury inconvenient data AND the people who know it with impunity, and since they're too big to fail in literally the cronyest capitalist industry on Earth, American War, the government not only won't lift a finger, but will actively print money to give to them to let them keep doing all of the above in perpetuity.

Boeing is the capiteeliest of capitalist success stories. You didn't think modern corporations actually believed their own propaganda about free markets deciding profit and success based on herp derp honest compertition? Thats just the bullshit they drive into kids minds when they can't yet muster questions or concerns to ruin their lives and forge them into wage zombie husks. Capitalists want to win, preferably at the gunpoint of their captured governments, because actually prouducing products/services that people actually want is for suckers.

That said, I think if used holistically towards the entire species, and I do myself included, Monkey ticks all the right boxes because it immediately cuts down our species' unearned God complex about being somehow above just another animal mutation cohabitating on this world. We aren't, we're just the shittiest conceivable roommates.

We crow about our vocal chords. We crow about our opposable thumbs. But really, our species should just go down as monkeys/apes with a runaway ego mutation, nothing more. That's hitting us where it hurts, our inflated sense of specialness and self-importance, literally the only remarkable trait about us.

Wow they stopped maybe 5 whole people from competing in games that were supposed to be about bringing the world together that's turned into just another shouting match between petty assholes taking the entire concept to hell.

Sports are games, fun little doofy things primarily for children that adults can like too. The shouting matches about doping, the doping itself, "no fair no fair they're cheating," and the massive paychecks for professional level sports are why I don't give any of the bullshit the time of day and never will.

Leave it to humans to remove from a concept the entire reason for that concept's creation in the first place: fun.

Fuck competition for competition's sake. Cooperation should have been our species business. The minute both teams/players aren't smiling and laughing after the game, the game has lost all meaning and has become a shitty game that shouldn't exist. That goes for you NFL, NBA, and yes, even the Olympics.

There's a small class of people who civilization has put in absolute power based on how effectively greedy and sociopathic they are. Did you expect such people to be ethical and moral and decent with their exploited hoards as they sit above those that would regulate, judge, and police them? Then greed, sociopathy, and willingness to exploit their brothers and sisters to death for an extra nickel shouldn't have been made the metrics for societal power that they have. It's wealthy people who think rules and laws are for their little peasant capital batteries.

Don't like it? At least be against and vote against capitalism and rampant economic inequity. Otherwise 78 choices of cereal are more important to you than children not being raped by rich people just because they can.

They're bored, have infinite resources, and by the nature of their insatiable greed and sociopathic treatment of those they exploit feel the need to test their limits and taste that which most consider forbidden. That makes it more desirable to them, not less.

Society should check, temper, and commit such people for everyone's safety, instead they own the government, and freely fuck kids and teens when they aren't being literally infused with their young blood to try to live longer. Enjoy their "free market." Hey, at least we aren't socialists amirite?

Honestly the Epstein stuff is a distraction too. The wealthy elites are largely pedophiles, always have been. Trump is among the most gluttonous, but that doesn't make him unique among them. Don't like it? Be against capitalist excess and for equity. Until then... we're building concentration camps.

Both sides are varying degrees of the same ideology, give all the money to the economic elite so they bribe both parties into maintaining that policy above all other considerations.

One side shrugs and calls it free market forces(D) as you suffer under that policy goal, the other points and laughs at you and says you deserve it(R). That is the extent of our "freedom" under American democracy.
