They are just browser pop ups. It happens when you press ok to enable notifications. Just turn them off lol it’s not a big deal

Honestly it’s one of those things where in the beginning it seems dumb but after 6 month you’ll love it. I did not even want one but I got one as a gift and I have been wearing it daily for 4 years. The health tracking being able to see time and schedule at a glance look at notis and more is so nice

M1 air is fine but if you like MagSafe and the new form factor than get m2. Also if the pricing is close the extra power from m2 is nice. And before yall say he doesn’t need the power it’s not about now it’s about the usability in 5 plus years. I ran into this where I only got 8gb of ram thinking ehh I don’t really need 16. 3.5years later now I need to buy a new machine for that reason. For allat I would go m2 unless the price of m1 is really compelling

Is there a way to change if the low power mode is on quickly. The only way I could see is through settings. Tbh as someone who came from(and still mainly uses) windows I kinda just learned the bare minimum and moved on so idk about a lot of things

? U suggested it and then said it’s stupid to throttle your machine?

Yea but lowpower mode lowers your performance. It’s essentially like starving your engine of gas. Sure it won’t use as much but your 0-60 is gonna suffer

Yea this is what I hate abt Mac OS. At one point I had 100gb is mystery other user data and 80gb I system data. That’s literally most of my ssd. Windows never does thst

I reset my m1 MacBook Pro due to this and it was gone for a few days and then the same large 100gb of data just comes back. This is only a 256gb device so I can’t not have this space. Thanks

Hi I am looking to purchase a new MacBook. My current workload consists of video editing every couple of videos I usually handle really low quality video 480i but some projects I use up to 4k 120fps. Currently my m1 MacBook pro is ok but honestly I do want an upgrade bc I love the new design of the new laptops as well and the screen MagSafe etc. now I am comparing these 2 laptops as I once again do do some video editing and ocationally I also do some blender work. Now my comparison would be between the base model of both. I do plan to upgrade again in 3.5years and I wanted to know if it would be a kinda ok decision to purchase into m2 even though it’s outdated at this point or should I spring for the new 14 inch pro. Also Ik I don’t NEED to upgrade but I want to and I want to know if the MacBook Air would support my needs now and in 3 years as I have only had pros
