Our TV company has that option built in. I can 'tape' shows and watch them later, shipping ads. This also works when the show is still playing.

So I'll wait half an hour, then watch my recorded show. I wouldn't consider watching tv without that function.

Did you know Steve Buscemi helped out as firefighter during 9/11?

Governments are usually inhabited by older folks, that aren't too tech savvy.

I'm always a bit miffed about the use of the word 'culture' in this debate. I know it's a cultural phenomenon, but in the end it's an economical construct.

No one was calling the little kids that had to fish cotton out from between the running gears of mechanical looms in the 19th century 'culture'. It's extortion, is what it is.

I must comment that I down voted not because of the content of your initial comment, but because of the tone of your edit.

Insulting people doesn't get your point across, I understand that there's a lot of anger, but communication is really key and the time it takes to percolate is glacial. Yet by abuse understanding walks the other way.

I'm this case it's better to embrace the common consensus that the USA is fucked, where you agree, rather than focus on the throwaway 'rn' that you go off on.

I see, thanks for the clarification!

That generalization may have been the joke, as it's often said about women politicians.

As a childless person... I don't get it.
