I feel like in the current climate of attitudes towards the super wealthy, they're taking steps to insulate themselves from "the commoners" like us.
Yes I know it's been that way forever; gated communities, etc... heck, even castles if you go back far enough.
But this new private jet thing seems like now even moderately wealthy people, those who would have likely in the past just flown first class, are trying to insulate themselves from a growing mob.
This is likely an unconscious throwback to his youth.
I grew up on an acreage that still had older phone lines. And long distance used to be super spotty at times. Speaking louder used to be literally necessary to get past the static and interference in long distance calls.
It's amazing how far communications have come even since the 80s when I was a kid.

But the vast overwhelming truth is that most people pretending to be experts are just regurgitating the answers they heard from another reddit post, and so on, and so on.
