While I understand that's usually a great point in discussions on hexbear, It's perfectly adequate topics which aren't policitcally charged.

That research had very serious flaws and didn't hold up to scrutiny. There's some writing on it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_viewing#Scientific_reception

And at the same time it is said a lot of our brain is "unused", I've always had a pet theory that tapping too much into that resource is something we can't emotionally handle thus madness and also maybe genius for some people. Some doors it the brain are shut for a reason and such like. Maybe the paranormal is a broadening of our senses/brain access momentarily.

This is a common misconception. We do use our whole brain, it just doesn't all get used at the same time. In fact, the closest thing to it all being used at once is a seizure. Brains function properly when the signals are patterned and orderly, so it's actually necessary that only a portion be active at a given moment.

bugs-no

If they were real we could study them scientifically but every attempt to do so has produced bupkus. That said we still have plenty to learn about the experience of consciousness so it's worth keeping an open mind.

It's interesting how words with similar semantic content are close together in the abstract vector space. Those groupings seem like they could reveal the idological content of the training data.
