me too friend, me too. fighting car supremacy might honestly be my top political priority.

Fuck cars.

On a practical note, look into bass traps. I'm going to build a few for my bedroom corners and hopefully turn itinto less of a resonance box.

I'm also interested in reporting on this, but like from a news agency. Not sure why someone would fake this but it's such huge news if true, why is there no other reporting?

Lmao where are those "china watcher" dipshits to warn us about the communist menace!?

You might be a hater 🤷. To me they are different in that cosmology is a serious effort to make sense of what we see when we point telescopes out there and understand the place we find ourselves in (Disclaimer: I've taken college cosmology courses).

From studying the cosmic background radiation we have a pretty good idea of how old the universe is, what the early conditions were like, what it was made of, why the relative abundances of the light elements are what they are, etc.

The vast majority of the "simulation" crowd are being deeply unserious. (To my knowledge) it's not a serious scientific hypothesis and they offer no way of actually increasing our knowledge about the "simulation" we're in, even if we assume they're right. There's no explanatory power.

"Whoa what if God made the universe, wouldn't that be so crazy" is a more fitting equivalent in my opinion.
