The U.S. Air Force dropped 2 million tonnes of cluster bombs on Laos during the 60s - 70s. Those exposed bombs are still killing and injuring Laotian people in 2023.

She was the first visually impaired master in broadcasting and anchoring in China. Born in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, Dong Lina was born with congenital amblyopia and became completely blind at the age of 10.
