Understood - just wanted to share the states view on it as I live here :)
The state government has changed laws to prosecute protests that aren't "approved" - specifically targeting climate protestors has been their MO but there were plenty of cops at the last Palestine one I went to itching to do their thing
Read his book about extremism in Australia recently, laughably depressing how backwards some of these removed are tbh
Sad fucking day that we couldn't even pass the most toothless, performative of changes. I 100% expected it to fail because I've witnessed nothing but wide spread denial about the impact of colonisation from most of my fellow white people, it's pretty fucking ignorant. Plenty of "colonisation is good" takes here, much the same as what that gimp Charlie Kirk said the other day. Fucking pathetic.
