When giving hugs, I never let go first. Though I let go promptly when the other person does. You never know much of a hug the other person needs.

You’d think a ‘Pub, of all people, would know that giving to someone who hasn’t earned it is socialist. As staunch capitalists, ‘Pubs earned all the blame and they can keep it.

There’s a pragmatic solution here:

1). Make vaccines free. The government pays.

2). Require vaccines for participation in publicly funded social programs. Schools. Social Security. Etc.

3). Allow doctor authorized health waivers to number 2.

4). Wait.

Most people will get the free vaccines either because they’re reasonable people, because the vaccines are free, or because they want government services. Those that don’t will die earlier. Eventually even stupid people will notice or they’ll be dead.

Our cousins out in bumblefuck elected their ‘Pub clowns and are surprised they’ve got a circus.

This dipshit has 23 comments since the last time I replied to him, not even two hours ago. That’s either mental illness or a bot.

Surprisingly, none are in blue states.

But it is really given the folks making the wild election fraud claims are the ones committing the actual election fraud..?

It’s not just Trump. It’s the entire GOP. Since at least the early ‘90s the ‘Pubs have been purely an opposition party that trades on ignorance and hate.

Yep. I get it. It’s going to be really fucking uncomfortable. I’ll be hungry, thirsty, sore, and will lose my concept of time. And then I’ll have a million dollars. How long will it take you to earn a million dollars in any other fashion? Unless your Jeff Bezos you’ll have much more accumulated discomfort and assorted bullshit over that period of time than just dealing with it all at once. This is a easy decision.

Then absolutely. Is this even a hard question for any rationale person?

CNN asked Republican voters in Georgia to react to a key piece of evidence in the investigation of former President Donald Trump's efforts to overthrow the 2020 election.

U.S. prosecutors on Thursday asked a federal judge to begin former President Donald Trump's trial on charges of trying to overturn the 2020 election on Jan. 2, 2024.

That date would have the trial get underway just two weeks before the first votes are cast in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, a race in which Trump is the front-runner.

U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith's office said in Thursday's court filing that it believes it will take about four to six weeks to put forward the bulk of their case against Trump at trial.

The committee, led by Chairman James Comer, said in the report that it plans to continue to investigate Biden to find evidence of corruption, even as it acknowledged that it had no evidence that he financially benefited from the myriad foreign business dealings of his son Hunter.

Tommy Tuberville — the Alabama GOP senator who has single-handedly held up hundreds of Defense Department promotions over its abortion policy, impacting US military readiness — has parroted Russian propaganda by insisting Ukraine "can't win" the war against Moscow.

During an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Monday night, Tuberville highlighted how he has voted against US aid packages to Ukraine, but that it doesn't even matter how much funding the eastern European country gets because it has "no chance" of beating Russia in the war.

The chairman of the House Oversight Committee on Monday said he and his colleagues still lack evidence proving that President Joe Biden took bribes while he was vice president during the Obama administration, despite months of investigation into his son, Hunter Biden.

Representative James Comer made the embarrassing admission during an appearance on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s eponymous nightly programme alongside Representative Jim Jordan, the chair of the House Judiciary Committee.

A Georgia judge has rejected former president Donald Trump’s attempt to block Fulton County DA Fani Willis from bringing indictments against him or anyone else based on the results of a special grand jury investigation into his effort to overturn his 2020 election loss in the Peach State.

A federal judge late Friday dismissed Donald Trump’s $475 million defamation lawsuit against CNN, in which the former president argued that the cable network’s statements about his false 2020 election fraud claims likened him to Adolf Hitler.

In the lawsuit, Trump’s team argued that CNN writers and television anchors’ use of the phrase the “Big Lie,” in five specific incidents, incited “readers and viewers to hate, contempt, distrust, ridicule, and even fear” him.

More than half of the $23 million-plus [Trump] raised has come from people who identify their occupation as “retired.” Other titles of people who gave the most contributions in aggregate include “attorney,” “CEO,” “sales” and “home maker.”

The resulting map shows huge swaths of deeply disadvantaged locations across the nation's 3,000 counties, places that are mostly located outside of the largest U.S. cities yet which share some traits: A history of resource extraction, unequal educational opportunities, a breakdown of social bonds, violence and local corruption.

According to a summary of the bill released by the Patriotic Millionaires—an advocacy group that helped craft the measure—the wealth tax would have four brackets:

  • 2% for all wealth between 1,000 and 10,000 times median household wealth;
  • 4% for all wealth between 10,000 and 100,000 times median household wealth;
  • 6% for all wealth between 100,000 and 1,000,000 times median household wealth; and
  • 8% for all wealth over 1,000,000 times median household wealth;

"In the unlikely event median household wealth fell below $50,000 from its current level of about $120,000, the thresholds would be fixed at $50 million, $500 million, $5 billion, and $50 billion respectively.”

The legislation would also require at least a 30% IRS audit rate on households affected by the new wealth tax.
