4X strategy game - you control an insterstellar galaxy and make it what you want! Nothing like taking a colony of mushroom men to the stars over a long weekend!
I mostly drank spiced rum or a nice glass or two of resld wine - if I had a proper desktop setup again it'd be a nice peaty Islay or something now I've developed a taste for that!
Although the government is using the phrase “new towns”, most of them likely won’t be: they’ll instead be extensions of existing settlements, not so much new towns as new suburbs.
Ah, so we won't be building more actually livable spaces, just tacking on house building to already stressed developments. Gotcha.
I'm all for more home building, but this isn't the answer, at least not without sensible planning (which doesn't exist because "it takes too long").
What would actually make sense would be to build actual new towns which can be done, and done well, but it's obviously a bigger commitment. It seems like they're taking the wrong lessons from Milton Keynes. As much as it pains me to admit, Price Charles' new town is a great example of what can be done if the will is there to do it.

I can't wait to hear about farmers nipping this in the bud because they'll have to protect their sheep somewhat now. Or suggest that wolves pose a credible threat to human settlement, of course.
I ended up using the mid section of the drops on my bars more than the hoods on my bars when I ran them (Satori Boondocks) - and the shape of the SRAM hoods lent themselves quite well to the setup more broadly (having brake levers that don't move laterally helped a lot as well).
I also run quite fat bar tape when I can get it (fabric silicone tape) which helped with the comfort.
Nice to see the star reposting .ml/lemmygrad rhetoric. I'm amazed the interviewees didn't claim that the invasion was inevitable and actually fine because yhere are neo Nazis in Ukraine.
