We don’t even insure that our own citizens get clean water and proper medical care, why would we expect these detention centers to be any different? This country is in crisis

And “we’re fucked” is putting it lightly. On that note, check out American Resiliency on YouTube if you want some helpful information on how to get ready!

You shouldn’t have to wear safety rated glasses to protest, but I wouldn’t go to one without them at this point. If you normally wear glasses and they’re not rated an impact can shatter them and cause even more damage than not wearing them at all would have.

Plenty of people will be protesting in Seattle, represent your own city. It may not get as much media coverage, but it can motivate people in your local community and that’s the kind of movement we really need across the country.

You don’t even have to be that smart to be the US President, that’s what your advisors are supposed to be for. That was evident in Trump’s first term when he surrounded himself with at least semi competent people. When you surround yourself with a bunch of sycophantic morons, this is the type of shit you get. Not to mention the whole revenge tour thing.

The mainstream has been bought and paid for, the revolution will not be televised.

Shell and Nestle have committed numerous atrocities against mankind. When your platform suddenly becomes untenable for them to run ads on, the problem is definitely your platform.

You’re right, but I’d just consider that it’s own kind of cult at this point. Pure delusion.

Likely 25% of the country is brainwashed and doesn’t give a shit, to an absolute fault. The rest either did the right thing or totally feel like morons at this point. To the latter people, I am willing to forgive if you take to the streets, stand up for what’s right, and do whatever you can to help us get the train back on the tracks.

Schadenfreude is also robbed of its joy when you’re suffering alongside the folks that fucked up.

It is cheaper for them to take the sales loss that comes with raising prices rather than it would be to take any other approach. Austerity and Tariffs make the perfect economic shit sandwich.

It doesn’t help that the tariffs are nonsensical. It’s not even like they’re doing austerity with correctly targeted tariffs. Incredible work, masterful gambit, art of the deal they’re saying.

A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they shall never sit.

As we get closer to this coming to fruition, forecast confidence is increasing that this will be a significant event. I have linked the latest forecast from the storm prediction center, but I also recommend using local sources as well if available. If you live in Michigan, “Michigan Storm Chasers” are on Facebook and YouTube, they’re providing the best statewide forecasts currently with easy to digest information and no senseless hype. Nationally, I’ve found Max Velocity to be a decent source on YouTube. NOAA and NWS are currently strained to the max, so being weather aware is paramount at a time like this.
