This is death by degrees for our privacy, handing over the keys to the police.

Do not allow this to pass. Write Carney. Write your MP. Call them.

Fuck this bill.

Why not be required to disclose in EVERY endeavour? I need to know which companies to boycott. If you use AI at all, for any purpose, you should have to credit it in every use.

If you use the word, so can anyone. It's up to you to decide whether you're upset about it, but it's hypocritical to use a word and then claim it's off limits to anyone else.

We're talking about empathy and you immediately turn to finance as a measure of it. When it is not. Not at all.

Just because the cause you donate to is a tax write-off doesn't mean it's charitable. Example: all the charities that Trump used as grifts. His entire family is now forbidden from running "charities".

Also, fuck you for equating monetary donations with actual empathy.

“EA said, ‘Make this a live service.’ We said, ‘We don’t know how to do that. We should basically start the project over.’”

I read this article as EA interference to the point that the games were made to suck ass.

We're past the point of adding gambling and live service. Consumers are more savvy imo.
